Iceland
A mystical place, Iceland. Shot in June.
This image is shot standing on melting ice over Bræðravatn, Mjóafjarðarheiði. The locals tell me this is never to be done again. The name, Lake of Brothers, comes from two brothers who drowned in the extremely deep and cold water after the ice broke.
Silence has broken!
Totally different moods to the previous rainbow shot but I prefer this one for that reason!

Ponemah Bog in Amherst, New Hampshire (Audubon Society land).
I should point out that these plants are known as "bog cotton" (shown in bloom in other pictures in my stream) and here they're sticking up through the frozen surface of the Ponemah Bog pond.
