I was sitting comfortably in my chair when suddenly this interesting "shadow" seemed to arise like a phoenix out of nowhere. The "shadow" turned out to be this amazing light coming from the skies, which, of course, captured my attention. I arose and took my camera and went outside knowing that it wouldn't last long (and it didn't, unfortunately...maybe 4-5 minutes if even that amount) because of the ominousness that was brewing behind it. The wind was rather gusty, which is somewhat apparent here (ie: the leaves on the car (which were wet from a previous rain before this interesting light)). So yes, I was able to catch this, although I would much rather had been in a more "framed" or unengulfed territory, but I don't complain, so I take what I get. I'm blessed that way.
